To serve more than 880 rooms and suites in the Excelsior Hotel, operation of the Laundry is always of heavy workload. How to utilize the limited space for laundry storage is one of the most important management issues.

Excelcior had been using some stainless steel shelves for laundry storage. The space was not only insufficient but also the laundry could be seen and seemed not in good order. Being the furniture supplier of the Hotel, Hang Cheong suggested an efficient solution with 3 blocks of mechanical rolling cabinets for sorting and storage of laundry.

The installation commenced on 31st of August. Hang Cheong removed the old shelves on the first day and install the large mechanical rolling cabinet on the second. The laundry is well-sorted into different categories, such as bedsheets, pillow cases and towels, before putting into the cabinets. Each of the cabinets has sufficient layers of shelves for storing the laundry in a systematical way.

The Laundry Manager said, "We found Hang Cheong's installation very efficient. The new cabinets could be in service in 2 days. We are very happy to be facilitated with the new storage system which allows us to work more efficiently."
